OH MY.... ANNA DELLO RUSSO

Hi All... For those of you who do not know this lady (shame on you), get ready to enter a world of fashion that you've never seen before. Anna Dello Russo is the editor at large of Vogue Nippon, she was previously the Fashion Editor of Vogue Italia for 18 years and is probably the most glamorous and fashionable woman on Earth. It's people like her that make me love fashion... everytime I see her, it's like a breath of fresh air... she'll wear anything that screams glamour... from sequins, feathers, fur, glitter and even lace... she'll wear it all and she will look amazing doing so. I love that her style is completely fearless and that she'll be the first to challenge just about any trend whilst keepng it very ADR... it's no surprise that Scott Schuman, The Sartorialist, as well as famous bloggers such as Jak and Jil cannot go through a single fashion week without snapping a picture of this Italian glam goddess... if only I could spend a day in her shoes (literally)!

DO BLACK MODELS SELL COVERS?

I was so interested to see that this issue was tackled in the May Issue of South African Elle ... I've always wondered if the fact that blacks models did not sell as many covers as white models, was a myth or if it was true. I don't really know how to put hhis question to the test apart from asking my readers what they think... and in order for me to find out I will need your comments and input... I've put together a whole lot of my favourite covers with my favourite models of colour... namely Liya Kebede, Gracie Carvalho, Chanel Iman, Jourdan Dunn, Arlenis Sosa, Noemie Lenoir, Alek Wek and even Beyonce... especially considering that it took her so long to get her Vogue cover (she only got it last year after all this time). According to Anna Wintour the reason why there's a lack of black models on fashion covers, is because they don't sell... after looking at the above... I really find this hard to believe!

This time, he will be photographing his many muses which include the likes of Liya Kebede, Caroline Trentini, Isabeli Fontana, Raquel Zimmerman, Jordan Dunn, Natasha Poly, Natalia Vodianova, Anna Jagodzinska and Lara Stone. Somehting tells me that this spread will be nothing short of extraordinary.
