It seems as though the pencil skirt is getting thinner, tighter, and longer, which could lead to more difficulty in walking and sitting. We must also acknowledge the perks that this skirt has... it has the power to give us that great hourglass shape as well as a great butt-shot! I love the way Victoria Beckham does this look... she's even included a couple in her own collection....

I just love her style... what's great about her is that she pull off outfits that are way beyond her years, she does classics beautifully... she's definitely one of my icons (after Kate, of course)...
Celebreties that I can assure you that will never see as icons are Eva Longoria, Fergie, Mary J Blige, Victoria Beckham, (as much as I love her collection, there's nothing natural about her), Paris Hilton, Sienna Miller (simply cuz she tries too hard to be Kate Moss)... The ones I'm really thinking of putting up are Nicole Richie, Lou Doillon, Carine Roitfeld and her daughter, Blake Lively, Chloe Sevigny, Maggie Gylenhaal, I've recently started liking Anne Hathaway (she's come a long way), Rachel Zoe, Audrey Tautou, Alice Dellal, and Alexa Chung and Audrey Hepburn... I'm looking forward to them... I hope you are too
I'm loving these cuissardes, or also know as thigh-high boots... I love the incredibly long zip in the first picture and if you look closely in the second one, Carine Roitfeld's heel is literally a nail... sigh... the things we'll do for fashion.

Victoria Beckham has launched her very first collection, and gave us a sneak peak of what to expect in a strapless LBD at the Marc Jacobs FW show in NY. Here are my favourite pieces from her collection. She preferred not to have a fashion show for it but the collection has been in stores since February. I really love the clean lines and the simplicity of all her pieces, they all have something very 30's and 40's about them and I'm loving that 'cause the 80's are really being exploited. I also love the fact that pieces are either made up of neutral colours or brights... the juxtaposition is beautiful...
